I had seen this in pictures, but was really excited to actually find it. If you take the elevator to the 7th floor and buy a drink, you can go out on the observation deck, for a great view of the river.

Didn't have a lot of time but it was a nice visit and sit with a beer. The art gallery on the ground floor has some fun pieces, and there is also a cafe there for a quick snack. The view from the rooftop is beautiful, giving a nice panoramic lookout over the city and beyond. You can enjoy a refreshing drink or fruit juice of your choice from the bar at the entry to the roof viewing platform, while you take in the awe of the surroundings. The staff also speak English so that helped. Very good location overall.A must for me!

The Dancing House, or Ginger and Fred was designed by the Croatian-Czech architect Vlado Milunić in cooperation with Canadian-American architect Frank Gehry on a vacant riverfront plot. The building was designed in 1992 and the construction was completed four years later in 1996.It is nice to go on the top floor (free) and have a drink with a nice view. The house is even an hotel.

visited after a very long day of walking under the sun, so was very tired by the time we arrived here. the dancing house is a little out of the way compared to other sites, it’s in the opposite direction of the old town.there’s a little cafe on the top where i imagine you can capture some panoramic views of the city.the walk to the house is very scenic so despite it being on the other side of town, i would recommend going to get a photo if the weather is nice

This is one of the city's special attractions located right next to the river. You can choose to stand from the bottom looking up or up at the top of the building and look down towards the river. However, if you want to go to the rooftop, it is imperative that you buy a drink or pay 100ku as an entrance fee. But it will be quite crowded, and waiting for your turn can sometimes be quite time consuming. So please consider that.It can be said that the view from above of the building will bring another special Prague view.

A Disappointing Stay at the Dancing House HotelI recently had the opportunity to stay at the Dancing House Hotel, and I must say that my experience left much to be desired. While the hotel had its aesthetic appeal, there were several functional aspects that fell short of expectations.First, the air conditioning system was a major letdown. The air conditioning in my room simply failed to cool it adequately. The room remained uncomfortably hot throughout my stay, making it difficult to relax or get a good night's sleep. It's disappointing when an essential feature like air conditioning fails to provide the comfort after a long day of sightseeing in Prague. On a positive note, the breakfast at the Dancing House Hotel was indeed a highlight. There was a variety of eggs, fruits, meats and vegetables as well as yogurt and pastries. The quality of the food was excellent which is why I cannot give a one star rating . I would rate the breakfast and the breakfast staff five stars.Regrettably, the issues with functionality continued beyond the air conditioning. Despite the visually pleasing design of the rooms, the practicality was severely lacking. The shower in particular was a nuisance, as using it inevitably resulted in a wet bathroom floor. The shower door had ripped seals and failed to serve its purpose. In the room there was a large sliding glass mirror/door hiding either the bar and refrigerator or your closet depending on which way it was moved. It had no buffer to prevent it from slamming into the walls when opening and was often in the way of the doors and drawers when opening them. This inconvenience could have been easily avoided with better planning and design. The various flaws proved the hotel was built with a priority of form over functionality. While the Dancing House Hotel may boast attractive aesthetics and a superb breakfast, the flaws in functionality cannot be overlooked. The lack of effective air conditioning and the impractically of many design choices hindered my ability to enjoy my stay. If these issues were addressed, the hotel could have the potential to offer a much more satisfying experience to its guests.

Cool bit of architecture right along the river in Prague. Made an attempt to visit the rooftop but the line was quite long but to be fair it was in the evening but I bet mid day wouldn't be so bad.Even if you can't go up it's still worth a visit.

One of the things I liked the most as a tourist was climbing to high places (even though I'm afraid of heights). In addition to the architecture of the building being a differential, it is possible to go up to the rooftop and have a stunning view of the city. If you consume a drink, entry is free.

One of the best views over the Prague centre with the river and the castle as well as Mánes and Náplavka. There is a restaurant on the top floor (where you get by a lift) and above a café. The café is located right at the top. If you buy a drink there, you no longer need to pay the entrance to see the view from the top. Be aware that the restaurant and the café have different owners so having a dish at the restaurant will by no means get you to see the view from the top for free. I had lunch at the restaurant, it was ok but had better. The staff was not too kind nor friendly. The staff at the café was kinder, four young people attending. There is also a hotel located at the Dancing House and a gallery + café on te groundfloor.

View from 8th floor - cost 100 CZK or buy a drink. View is nice, drinks are reasonable but it is very crowdy place and people going to be rude to take picture with their drink. Not place for longer stay.
