The food is freshly prepared and very tasty. We ordered Samosa which was crispy and hot ! The chicken biryani was delicious and you could get the authentic Indian flavour. The mango lassi was perfect way to end the meal. Overall very satisfying and affordable option. The owner is very courteous as well.

Neat little place with cheap authentic Indian food. No AC inside so it gets very warm in summer. The bread is a thin bread not naan. When you order XL menu they fill the 3rd slot on the tray too (bread/rice stay same). Windows could use a polish and frames need a paint job to hide the rust. They offer takeaway.

Staff were kind. Food was nice :) I wanted to eat very spicy food and had chicken vindaloo. It was spicy enough. Samosa was delicious too. I loved the food there. (You can use credit card here)

A nice cozy restaurant offering amazing food at affordable prices. Loved their Chicken Biriyani, Raita and the Mango Lassi. Samosa was also quite delicious and it was freshly prepared. Appreciate the warm and friendly behavior of the staff. Would love to come back again!

Ok tried a place to get lunch today I went to first over five years ago Bistro Punjab in Michle next to the prison.I sort of forgot about this place during Covid and then recently saw something about them again, so I decided to give them another try. It’s an unassuming, authentic place with a few tables and take away. What I ordered and my arbitrary scoring:Chicken Biriani 7/10Chicken Korma. 6.0/10Butter chicken 7/10Onion bhaji 9/10Potato samosa 10/10Chicken Pakora 7/10Rice 10/10Everything was “good”, in some cases better than I make at home.So with a score of 5/10 being acceptable and average, a 7/10 is a decent score.Yes they have vegetarian, no they don’t have lamb or any meat besides chicken.I ordered from the menu because I wanted a certain variety, but they have lunch specials every day that are less than 130 kcs. There are other places in Prague that are also nice, but this is still good, cheaper, and closer too.Plate is a mix of everything I ordered so it is not a reflection of any individual plate.

I can’t understand the 4.7 rating with almost 500 reviewsWe order 2 butter chickenOne with rice and one with naanThe price is very cheap 160 for a dish that include a side dish(rice/naan)We decided to take away the food because of the interior and the strong smell of the kitchenI’ve been in many Indian cuisineThis is the least favorite of them all if not the worstThe sauce of the butter chicken taste like they took the KNOR instant powder soup and blend it with pieces of tasteless chickenMoreover the naan is probably a tortilla they bought in a storeI will not come back hereAnd I would not recommend going thereYes it’s cheap but In my honest opinion there are other good value for your money Indian cuisine out there

After 3 weeks in Europe, we were craving for some great Indian food. I'm glad to share that we found it here. This place serves comfort food that would definitely soothe your soul and remind you of authentic Indian flavors. The staff is friendly and polite and made sure that we felt comfortable. We tried the Veg samosas, Paneer makhani, butter Parathas and Gulab jamun. I'd highly recommend this pocket friendly place to everyone! A must visit while you're in Prague.
